Brothers in Vines was founded in 2015 by winemaker and viticulturist, Sherwin Van Wyk. Growing up in a small town on the Cape Garden Route, Sherwin believed in the saying “to think outside the box.” The brand Brothers in Vines, is just that, believing that there is no box. With 15 years’ experience within the wine industry, Sherwin has always wanted to create a brand that was a reflection of the passion he has for the craft.
The name “brothers in vines” is a derivative from Brothers in arms, which signifies inclusivity and togetherness. It creates a feeling that everyone can be a part of something special.
